CTTC is pleased to announce the 3-day course Ground-Based SAR deformation monitoring: data analysis organized by the Geomatics Division of the CTTC  and sponsored by IDS.

The course will cover the relevant aspects of GBSAR data analysis to understand advantages and limitations of this new technique and to correctly exploit and interpret its data. Lectures will be complemented by hands-on sessions where practical exercises, using real GBSAR data and the experimental in-house developed software of the Geomatics Division of CTTC, will be performed.

The course will be in English and is aimed at technicians, young researchers and scientists interested in both the GBSAR technique and terrestrial deformation monitoring. The course has been designed so the participants do not require any specific knowledge. Previous experience with any GBSAR system or GBSAR data will surely be beneficial, even though it is not necessary to attend the course.

The course will take place on the 4th-6th July 2016 and will be held at the premises of CTTC (Castelldefels, Barcelona, Spain). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact María Cuevas (gbsar-course@cttc.es).

Please register on the GBSAR course website http://gbsar-course.cttc.es/ or forward this email advert to your colleagues and anyone who might be interested.

Many thanks and apologies for any cross-posting.
