CALL 15-2019-1 - Post Doctoral Position in the Geomatics Division
The Geomatics Division of the CTTC is searching for candidates interested in a Postdoc contract in one of its two Departments: Remote Sensing and Geodesy and Navigation. The contract will be funded by the Catalan Government (Acció – Generalitat de Catalunya) through the competitive Tecniospring INDUSTRY call, see http://catalonia.com/innovate-in-catalonia/tecniospringplus. The activity of this contract can be related to any research line of the Geomatics Division, see http://geomatics.cttc.es.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have a PhD in geomatics or related disciplines (engineering, physics, geophysics, mathematics, computer science, etc.), and 2-year Postdoc research experience. This latter requirement has to be fulfilled by September 2019. Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for more than 12 months in 3 years prior to Septemebr 2019. Applicants have to propose a research focused on industry, proposing techniques, methods, etc. to be brought to the market. Full professional proficiency in English is required. Catalan and Spanish are appreciated.
The duration of the contract will be 2 years, starting between March and June 2020. The selected candidates will prepare jointly with CTTC their candidature to be submitted to the competitive Tecniospring INDUSTRY call (deadline: September 2019).
