REQUIREMENTS

The Geomatics Division of the CTTC is searching for interested candidates in a Researcher position in its Remote Sensing Department. The applicant is expected to be motivated and team player and to carry out innovative research. The candidate should have experience in the area of remote sensing. The candidate is expected to contribute to these main research areas of the Remote Sensing Department: satellite-based Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) interferometry and ground-based SAR interferometry.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants for this position must hold a MSc degree in geomatics or related disciplines (engineering, physics, geology, geophysics, mathematics, computer science, etc.). The candidate must be strongly motivated to carry out research activities. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a previous experience in radar remote sensing, including data processing, data analysis, data interpretation and development of applications based on SAR results. Full professional proficiency in English is required. Spanish and Catalan will be appreciated.

CONDITIONS

The contract duration for the potential position will be 12 months, renewable on a yearly basis subject to performance and budgetary constraints.  The salary will be determined according to qualifications, work experience and budget availability.
