The CTTC coorganizes together with the University of Ghent the School on Signal Processing for Next Generation Satellite Communications 2016 (SPNGS 2016).

The School will take place at University of Ghent from 25 to 27 April 2016 and it is sponsored by the European Space Agency (SatNEx IV project), IEEE Signal Processing Society and EURASIP.

The School is related to the applications, methodological advances and basic theory of signal processing techniques in satellite communications. We plan to touch the current schemes that are implemented in today’s satellite equipment, as well as advanced techniques that will support “Next generation satellite systems”, with a main focus on “HTS: High Throughput Satellite”. This school schedules 6 short courses and 3 keynotes from renowned international professors and industry experts. Most courses will include close-to-real implementation results.
