CTTC participates at the Maker Faire with its robotic platform
CTTC has been selected to be presented at the Maker Faire. The Geomatic Division of the CTTC will show in this amazing faire a robotic platform (rover) created to do research in indoor and outdoor mapping, 3D reconstruction and cartography and autonomous navigation. It includes a set of sensors, like GNSS, IMU and dual-camera depth vision. Some of our calibration tools will be also available like an IMU calibration platform and a camera calibration poster.
They will showed how do they work and operate the rover and which results can be obtained (i.e. 3D indoor mapping and objects classification).
Maker Faire ia a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they make. From Engineers, to artists, to show experiments, projects and innovations.
