Bio
Luis Blanco Botana received his M. S. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in 2006. In his master thesis he developed an integral mobile location system for 3G environments (TOA and DOA estimation and Kalman tracking).
He received INNOVATIA 2004 and INNOVA 2003 awards from IDE-CESEM (Instituto de Directivos de Empresa) and UPC-EAE, respectively.
In March 2007 he joined the CTTC as a research engineer.
His current research areas of interest include signal and array processing, MIMO techniques and radionavigational systems.
