Bio
Marc Portoles Comeras obtained his degree in Telecommunications engineering by the end of 2002 from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). Before graduation he did a one year stay in Philips Research USA in New York where he joined an active group within IEEE 802.11 standardization process, mainly working in QoS extension (TGe) to the original spec. After graduation, in the beginnings of 2003 he joined the Radiocommunications group within TSC deparment in the UPC as a research assistant. There he worked on the integration of WLAN in heterogeneous environments with multi-user service. In March 2004 he joined the IP technologies department in CTTC.
His current interest research areas include wireless networking in all-IP heterogeneous environments
