Bio
J. Oriol Font Bach (Terrassa, 1981) received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from the Autònoma University of Barcelona (UAB, 2004). Since November 2006, he is working at CTTC.
Prior to joining CTTC, he has been working in some R&D related projects at:
- UAB Microelectronics Department (September 2003 to July 2004), related to the design automation of AMBA based SoC systems, collaborating with EPSON BDC and National Microelectronics Center (IMB-CNM CSIC)
- National Microelectronics Center (IMB-CNM CSIC, September 2004 to October 2006), working on his Ph.D studies, and presenting his Research Dissertation "xENoC (eXperimental Environment for NoCs)", related to the design automation of NoC systems.
Currently, he works towards his Ph.D thesis. His main research interest areas include wireless networking, quality of service, and mobility in heterogeneous networks.
