During March 2009, the CTTC signed a collaboration agreement with the Communication Networks Laboratory (CNL), Department of Informatics and Telecommunications University of Athens, with the aim of developing scientific research projects in the field of telecommunications, and specifically mechanisms for locating resources. The agreement contemplates the cooperation of both institutions for the exchange of know-how, scientific and technological experience, as well stays of CTTC researches at University of Athens and vice versa By means of this agreement the existing prior relations among both institutions are consolidated.  The first point of contact between both entities took place in 2002, the NoE ANWIRE.
