Radio Communication (Ref. 03/2009-1, 1 position): The candidate must hold a PhD in signal processing for communications, preferably with experience in these fields: signal processing for satellite systems, cooperative communications and/or multi-carrier systems. Applicants should also have solid background in information theory and its applications in wireless communication.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Applicants for Research Associate positions must hold a Ph.D. degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields, capacity of carrying out innovative research as well as experience in research and publication record. Work experience in international and national R&D projects carried out in the context of R&D institutions is highly appreciated. In particular, past experience in projects funded by the European Space Agency will be valued.
CONDITIONS
The position is permanent. The rank and salary, in the range 34,000 - 37,000 €/year (gross), will be determined according to qualifications and work experience.
