COMMUNICATION SUBSYSTEMS (Ref. 4/2009-1, 1 position): The candidate must hold a PhD degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering, with emphasis in Global Navigation Satellite Systems. Applicants must have a solid background in signal processing techniques applied to the design of navigation receivers (advanced synchronization and positioning algorithms), as well as strong interest in becoming part of an emerging research group working in the field of navigation systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants for Research Associate positions must hold a Ph.D. degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields, capacity of carrying out innovative research as well as experience in research and publication record. Work experience in international and national R&D projects carried out in the context of R&D institutions is highly appreciated. In particular, past experience in projects funded by the European Space Agency will be valued.
CONDITIONS
The position is permanent. The rank and salary, in the range 34,000 - 37,000 €/year (gross), will be determined according to qualifications and work experience.
