The candidate must have a solid background in design and development of advanced antennas for microwave applications, hands-on experience in antenna characterization in anechoic chamber, measurement methods and fabrication.
Engineering Unit (Ref. 1/2010-1, 1 position): The candidate must have a solid background in design and development of advanced antennas for microwave applications (UWB, RFID, reconfigurable antennas, ...), hands-on experience in antenna characterization in anechoic chamber, measurement methods and fabrication, as well as excellent knowledge in electromagnetic simulation tools (CST MW Studio, HFSS, ADS Momentum, NEC) and script languages Matlab).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering, with emphasis in antenna design technologies, capacity of carrying out innovative research, experience in research and publication record. Work experience in international and national R&D projects carried out in the context of R&D institutions is highly appreciated.
The position is permanent. The rank and salary, in the range 34,000 - 37,000 euro/year (gross), will be determined according to qualifications and work experience.
