Tsitsimelis Achilleas (Athens 1984) received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2013 with main concentration in ‘Electric Power Engineering’.

From January 2014 until October 2014, he worked within Smart Grid Research Unit ECE NTUA as a junior researcher. His main research interests included integration of DG in LV and MV electric networks, control methods on electric distribution grids and automated evaluation of Smart Grid solutions.

In November 2014, he joined the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher. He is pursuing a PhD in ‘State Estimation and Communications for Micro-Grid enabled Distribution Networks’.
