Farhad Rezazadeh received his BSc Degree in IT, specializing in Software Engineering (Automation) from Salman Farsi University, Iran and his MSc Degree in IT majored in Networks and Telecommunication Engineering at Azad University of Qazvin (AI/Ensemble learning & Security), Iran with honors.
His education instilled a passion for research on Hi-Tech technologies and learning more that brought him to Europe and Barcelona as a PhD fellow in Signal Theory and Communication at CTTC and UPC- BarcelonaTech. Since 2019, he is a Research Assistant (R&D engineer) at the laboratory of SMARTECH. He is a member of IEEE Young Professionals and has presented contributions and technical achievements at high prestigious international conferences such as IEEE GLOBECOM2020 and IEEE ICC2021.
He won different Grants/Fellowship such as:
1- Marie Sklodowska – Curie European fellowship,
2- Government grants for the recruitment of new research staff,
3- European grants for Cooperation in Science and Technology,
3a- Scientific mission grant at Lancaster University,
3b- Scientific mission grant at Technical University of Munich (TUM) ,
4- Scientific mission grant at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) ,
5- UPC Travel grants.
As an engineer and researcher, he is interested in dealing with the state of the art technologies and solving complicated High-Tech problems. He has 11+ years of research, engineering, teaching, and management experience in IT & ICT from various companies, industries, universities, and research groups such as:

Furthermore, he had a course as Responsible Conduct in Research and Innovation (RCiRI) which opens up new horizons for him in innovation and research activities. His main research interests focus on:
