Farhad Rezazadeh received his BSc Degree in IT, specializing in Software Engineering (Automation) from Salman Farsi University, Iran and his MSc Degree in IT majored in Networks and Telecommunication Engineering at Azad University of Qazvin (AI/Ensemble learning & Security), Iran with honors.
His education instilled a passion for research on Hi-Tech technologies and learning more that brought him to Europe and Barcelona as a PhD fellow in Signal Theory and Communication at CTTC and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC)- BarcelonaTech. Since 2019, he is a Research Assistant (R&D engineer) at the laboratory of SMARTECH.
He won different Grants/Funds/fellowship such as Marie Sklodowska – Curie fellowship, Government grants for the recruitment of new research staff, European Cooperation in Science and Technology grants, STSM at Lancaster University, and UPC Travel grants.
During his education, he was fortunate to have a course with Prof. Jordi Torres as Supercomputer Architecture and Artificial Intelligence (top student) – “ML at supercomputer Scale” based on Barcelona Supercomputer (BSC-CNS) which encourages him to pursue unveiling the potential of new ML and AI methods in Hyper-automation, Zero-Touch, Data-Driven, and Cognitive-Driven Communications (B5G/6G).

He is a member of IEEE Young Professionals and TPC member of some international conferences such as IEEE ICC2021, ICMLANT2020, and Mosharaka for Research and Studies. Moreover, he was a co-founder of two tech startup companies.
As an engineer and researcher, he is interested in dealing with the state of the art technologies and solving complicated High-Tech problems. He has 10+ years of research, engineering, teaching, and management experience in IT & ICT from various companies, industries, universities, and research groups such as Fanavaran Petrochemical Plant, SFPGMC Power Plant, shiraz university of medical sciences (SUMS), Startups/ICT Companies and also SANS, BCDS, and CBA Research Groups.
He has strong analytical and critical reasoning ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches and would like to learn more and implement his innovative ideas, skills, and creativity for accomplishing the ICT projects where he has worked on several European projects.
