Luca Vettori received his Ms. Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Florence (Italy) in 2008. After graduated, he worked for 3 years as a Research Engineer in LENST Laboratory (currently LESC) for Department of Information Engineering of University of Florence. During that period, he was actively involved in several national research projects, mostly regarding research activity on Broadband Wireless Systems, Software Defined Radio and Wireless Sensor Networks. Also worked as Network Engineer for a small Italian telephone company.
In Spain, he worked as Support Engineer and Software Engineer in some companies before joining CTTC in July 2017 as Research Assistant.
In CTTC, he is involved in ongoing H2020 project called 5G-TRANSFORMER. His research activity is focused on SDN/NFV, Network Virtualization and Network Orchestration.
